ECONOMICS - Profile

     The Department of Economics embarked on its journey in 1982, introducing the BA (HEP) program, which has consistently attracted numerous students since its inception. Eminent lecturers, including Dr. KDS Job Paul, a recipient of the State Teacher Award, Sri M. Maddileti, Dr. M. Madhava Reddy,PrincipalGDC,Alur , Sri T. Madanna, and Dr. G. Yella Krishna, have contributed to the department's rich academic legacy.

     Presently, Smt E. Lakshmi Devi serves as the in-charge of the Department, continuing the tradition of academic excellence.
